Microsoft has recently introduced a newly redesigned experience for merchants importing products from Google Merchant Center. This update will enhance your workflow and simplify the overall process.
Two new upgrades to Google Import:
1. Feed Label Support
Beginning in early October, your products will be imported with the Feed label specified in Google Merchant Center. Previously, we used feed label values and shipping settings to convert these labels to the most relevant country of sale. With the new system, products will be directly associated with their corresponding feed label. Feeds using a 2-letter country code as their feed label value will be backfilled with the matching country of sale to ensure continuity for existing campaigns.
2. Automated Feed Management update
We are simplifying the feed management process for imported feeds. Merchants will no longer need to create individual feeds to mirror their Google Merchant Center setup. Instead, all imported products will be consolidated into a single GMC Import feed. This feed will update automatically according to the selected schedule, allowing for easier management of all imported products in one location.
